An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Director to join a friendly, forward-thinking team at in Luton, Bedfordshire. The successful candidate will lead the team into the future along the Practice Manager and be responsible for both the clinical and financial performance of the practice.

You will also have access to area support from an Area Support Manager and Area Director.

Day to day you will undertake a clinical role including surgery and consultations with a varied caseload. You would also be responsible for mentoring junior members of the team and setting clinical objectives to achieve best practice in patient and client care. Administrative duties would include line management of the veterinary team and driving the financial success and growth of the practice alongside the practice manager.

The Role

  • Clinical Director – full-time permanent position, however, flexible working will be considered
  • The full-time rota will consist in working a 40hr week spread over 4 or 5 days with a flexible shift pattern
  • No OOH

Applicant Requirements

  • Candidates must have current MRCVS registration; they welcome applications from certificate holders
  • The ideal candidate would have previous experience of leading a team while driving financial performance, however, this is not essential as support and training will be provided to the right candidate

Salary and Benefits

  • The salary for this role is up to £80,000 depending on experience
