Veterinary Surgeon Required. Dunedin. 36 Hours per week.

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to run and expand one of their branch surgeries:

They are a busy small animal practice that has a full range of surgical and medical facilities and are a VNTP. They are looking for a team player. You will have to be a good communicator, have empathy with clients and their pets, and a passion to extend your range of experience, alongside their like-minded team.

They are flexible about how you wish your career to develop. They can support training whether clinical or managerial. They have a lovely new ultrasound machine if you want to hone your echo skills. Or if you now wish to be more involved in management they can support that ambition too.

Working a 4-day week (36 hours) and alternate Saturday mornings (4 Hours), There is no on call duty. A part-time position or job share will be considered. Salary – is commensurate with experience.

The practice has a full range of surgical and medical facilities and we are also a Veterinary Nursing training practice. Our client is looking for team players who enjoy a high standard of peer to peer working.
