Veterinary Surgeon – Derby

We are looking for a veterinary surgeon to join our client’s team based within Derby.

The successful candidate would ideally have experience working in the UK as a veterinary surgeon both consulting and operating. Ideally capable of sole charge, although this is rarely required.

About The Role

• Full time role
• 40 hours per week
• Saturday mornings on a 1:3 basis but no OOH
• Occasionally have an inpatient overnight that you might need to attend
• Open to part time applicants
• Salary for the role is up to £63,000 depending on experience

About The Practice

Our client is a first opinion, small animal practice. Equipment wise they have digital x-ray, ultrasound (with colour doppler and cardiac probe), multi-parameter, hydraulic tables, Tonopen, Doppler and in house blood facilities. They use Vetstream, VPIS and have a nice library.
