We are looking for a registered veterinary nurse to join our client’s practice within Surrey.

  • Experienced student nurse or a newly qualified Veterinary nurse
  • No OOHs or on-call duties
  • 1 in 3 weekends

About The Role

First opinion nurse duties to include; monitoring anaesthetics, inpatient care, nurse consults, ordering, assisting with procedures. They have visiting orthopaedic specialist so there is opportunity to assist with these cases. Our client also encourages nurse clinics and schedule 3 is actively encouraged.

There will be no OOHs or on-call duties, a Weekend rota will be included that is shared between the team which works out as 1 in 3 weekends.

About The Practice

Our client has a small team looking to welcome a new Veterinary nurse to their family orientated and friendly team.

Their modern surgery has state of the art equipment, including digital x-ray and brand new multiparameters, ultrasound and VGels. They have excellent facilities that allow their clinical team to deliver veterinary care with a dedicated focus on high clinical standards.

Their training practice has a nursing team of one Senior Vet Nurse, one Student Veterinary Nurse and one VCA. Which are supported by a team of Three Veterinary Surgeons, Receptionists and a Practice Manager.
