Our client, A very busy small animal practice with a passionate, family feel, close knit team, that is dedicated to offering compassionate care to the pets and people of Doncaster are looking for a senior vet to join the team:

  • 100% small animal
  • VetsNow handle the out of hours so there is no OOH or Bank Holiday Work.
  • 40 hours per week

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-respected and experienced team of specialists in the area, having recently opened a new branch to their existing network of practices, to hospital standard, this is a very exciting opportunity to join and grow with the existing team.

You will be joining a team of 9 vets, 7 RVN’s, 2 SVN’s and a wonderful support team of 15. Team working and respecting each other is key to our success.
The practice encourages continuity of care. The Role: This established practice is looking for a senior vet surgeon who holds the same values as the team, with some experience to be able to carry out most medical, surgical procedures and consultations of general practice.

All candidates with a medical bias would be seen as advantageous. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience, this is not essential, but preferred.

This role is being offered on a permanent basis at 40 hours per week, with 1 in 7-8 Saturday mornings 8am-12pm, most weekdays days 8hrs.

There is opportunity to progress with the practice and take over some managerial responsibilities within the practice as the Clinical Director looks to reduce hours to retirement. Excellent opportunity to make the role your own! Full support will be given to help develop managerial skills.

Must haves:

RCVS registered and qualified

Post grad, with a large amount of small animal experience
