We are looking for a registered veterinary nurse to join our client’s team located near Wakefield.

  • 22.5 hours on average a week
  • No out of hours
  • Salary between £25K- £30K FTE depending on experience

About The Role

This role will be part time 22.5 hours on average a week, working 1 in 4 weekends.  Our client’s Saturday hours are 9-5pm and Sundays are 10:30-4pm. The rota is arranged for the year ahead, so you know in advance and can plan accordingly.

There will be opportunity to pick up extra shifts if you choose to do so or locum elsewhere alongside this role.

About The Practice

Our client is passionate about ensuring their nurses can utilise all the skills they bring to their team in whatever area is important to them.  The current team run their own consults, engage in schedule 3, anaesthesia, dentistry, radiology, ultrasonography and lab work and, they are a training practice.

Our client encourages any new ideas for clinics their team are interested in offering and would welcome any nurses who are clinical coaches or have an interest in pursuing this.

The practice is RCVS accredited, and they are currently training to become a Fear Free practice as well as working towards ISFM cat friendly status and already hold a silver RWAF award.
