Registered Veterinary Nurse – Ashford

The position is full time Monday-Friday with 1:4 Saturday shifts. The earliest start time would be 8am and the latest finish time 8pm. There are no out of hours. Saturday shifts are worked on a rota and consist of alternating inpatient and consult shifts. We are open to working with you to secure the appropriate shift pattern for you and us.

There will be various shift roles including clinics, dispensary, theatre, and in-patients.

The candidate must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse of 1-3 years qualified. Candidates must be competent at all aspects of Veterinary Nursing and need to be excellent communicators. The ideal candidate will also have clinical coach experience or a desire to attain.

About The Practice

Our client has state of the art equipment including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, orthopaedic equipment, k-laser unit, a CT scanner, and endoscopy. They have separate dog and cat wards and a separate isolation ward.

Currently their team consists of 7 Veterinary Surgeons supported by 13 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, 2 Kennel Assistants, a Dispensing Assistant, a Client Care Manager, 14 Receptionists, an Insurance Administrator and a Practice Director who manages the entire team.
