Registered Veterinary Nurse – Anglesey

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our client’s friendly practice in Anglesey.

About The Role

• 4-day week
• Share in the Saturday rota
• No out-of-hours requirement
• Salary up to £30,000 DOE,
• up to £2,500 Welcome Bonus,
• up to £5,000 Relocation Allowance

About The Practice

Our client’s team see a wide variety of cases of cats, dogs, and exotic animals, covering a workload that ranges from the standard vaccinations, microchipping, X-ray interpretation of pet passports, pregnancy diagnosis with ultrasound, hip and elbow scoring and PAT dog assessments. To more specialist services and treatments, such as chemotherapy, echocardiograms, ECG, and more.

Their equipment is extensive and includes a modern IDEXX in-house laboratory (catalyst and procyte), digital AGFA CR X-ray, colour Doppler ultrasound with ECG, tonopen, and slit lamp.

Applicant Requirements

• Relevant companion animal nursing experience (including exotics)
• Ability to assist veterinary surgeon in routine and non-routine ops
• Experience with using X-ray, dental scale and polish, blood pressure and able to set up ultrasound; processing and interpreting urine and cytology samples
• Experienced in reception duties and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
