Night Veterinary Surgeon | Poole

A very exciting opportunity has arisen for a Night Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and supportive team at a 24-hr hospital in Poole, Dorset.

We are currently seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with a few years’ experience, who have a special interest in and passion for emergency and critical care. You will have a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills.

Excellent equipment options are on-site including laparoscopy, endoscopy (rigid and flexible), ultrasound, full lab suite.

The case load will consist of in-patient care as well as emergencies arising on the night. Here, you will work alongside a dedicated night nurse, as well as having on-call vets and nurses available should you require additional support during your shift.

Hours

• This is a part-time permanent position
• You will work a total of 8 nights out of 28

Salary and Benefits

• Competitive salary depending on experience

• Vehicle or vehicle allowance £2,500
• CPD allowance plus 3 days CPD leave
• RCVS, VDS, BVA fees paid
