Mobile Veterinary Surgeon | Hertfordshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Veterinary Surgeon to join an excellent team and cover shifts in Middlesex region, working across four branches.

We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon who has good general practice knowledge and is confident with working up medical cases to a high standard as well as performing routine surgeries.

The role will be ideal for someone with at least 1 years’ UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience.

The Role

• The role is full-time (but applications to work part-time are welcomed)
• 4 days per week plus 1 in either 3 half or 1 in 6 full weekends
• You will work sole charge in a supportive environment and a great team of nurses with lots of opportunity to improve your skills and confidence
• The role will involve consulting, routine surgery as well as taking part in the weekend, bank holiday and on-call rota (average 2-3 weeks on-call per year)

• Competitive salary package dependent on experience
• £10,200 accommodation allowance per annum
• Vehicle or £2,500 vehicle allowance per annum
• £1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave per annum
• VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid
• 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays per annum
