Mixed/small animal Veterinary Surgeon – Aberdeenshire

Our client boasts a growing mixed practice in Aberdeenshire and are looking to expand their team of 12 full time Vets. They are looking for a mixed Vet, as well as a small animal Vet.

What they offer:

•  Normal working hours are 8.30am to 5pm, over a 4-day working week, with 33 days annual leave pro rata per annum.

• Their own OOH service – 1:10, to increase to 1:11 when the mixed position is filled. T
•  Structured rota ensuring a guaranteed mix for mixed practitioners, with set operating days included, allowing for plenty time to work individual cases up to high standard, for both mixed and small animal Vets.

• 15-minute consults with built in administration time are standard.
• A large team of experienced nurses, and an excellent range of up-to-date equipment – including large and small animal video endoscopes, sector and linear ultrasound scanners for farm work, equine ultrasound, a high-quality small animal ultrasound machine, as well as digital x-ray.
• Car available if required.

  An ideal candidate:

•  Able to work across all areas (small, large, equine), but would have the freedom to build on any field that especially interested them.
• CPD is actively encouraged, with a generous allowance, professional fees and subscriptions are paid for.
