Locum RVN Anglesey- June-August

We have a super opportunity for an RVN to work at this practice located in beautiful Anglesey just 5 minutes from the beach and a 45 minute’ drive from the Snowdonia Mountains.

• Saturday shift optional on rota

The practice equipment is extensive and includes IDEXX in-house laboratory (catalyst and procyte), digital AGFA CR X-ray. They also have video endoscope and bronchoscope, colour Doppler ultrasound with ECG, tonopen, slit lamp. They have a varied workload that ranges from the standard (e.g. vaccinations, microchipping, neutering, dentals, in-house laboratory, X-ray interpretation pet passports, pregnancy diagnosis with ultrasound, hip and elbow scoring, PAT dog assessments). To more specialist services and treatments, such as chemotherapy, echocardiograms, ECG, video endoscope and bronchoscope for non-invasive investigations and advanced surgeries.

The principal vet has a particular interest in small animal surgery and orthopaedics (regularly carrying out TTAs) and holds a PGCertSAS. We have lovely and supportive nursing team.

This is an exciting and different location to work for a few months over the summer.
