Lead Veterinary Surgeon | Hertfordshire

We are seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Hertfordshire.

The practice has a dedicated and passionate team of nurses that will support you in providing continued outstanding care to the local community.

We are seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon who has good general practice knowledge and is confident with working up medical cases to a high standard as well as performing routine surgeries.

This role will be ideal for someone with at least 2 years’ UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience and who has the drive to lead and build the practice.

The Role

• Lead Veterinary Surgeon – full-time permanent position
• 4 days per week plus 1 in 3 Saturdays or 1 in 6 full weekends
• The role will involve consulting, routine surgery as well as taking part in the weekend, bank holiday and on-call rota (average 2-3 weeks on-call per year)
