We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our client’s friendly and supportive team in Cardiff. Due to the sole charge, we are looking for some experience in consulting.

  • Full Time role
  • No out of hours
  • Salary up to £80,000 depending on experience

About The Role

Every day at our client’s practice is different, you will carry out 15-minute consults, with time to read up cases and call clients. The role will include some surgery and consulting, but this can be altered if you prefer the medical aspect.

The working day is 9 am-7 pm with a lunch break in the middle. Our client uses a dedicated emergency service, so they don’t do nights or weekends, (other than rota’s Saturday mornings 9 am-1 pm). Their full-time vets work a 4-day week and always get the same day off each week.

About The Practice

Our client has a well-established, first opinion practice based in Cardiff. Across their 3 branches, they are well-equipped with an in-house lab, digital x-ray, K laser, u/s scanner, Laparoscopic and endoscopic equipment, and dental x-ray. Their facilities allows their vet’s full clinical freedom.

The team is made up of 5 vets, 6 nurses and a dedicated support function including their experienced practice manager.
