Full time Veterinary Surgeon – SOUTH WEST (JS-175010)

We are looking for a new graduate and 2 experienced vets for our clients solely small animal practice in Somerset.

They currently cover their own OOHs, but the night work may be moving to a local practice in the next few months.

Even if this does happen we would still be responsible for our own in-patients and for covering weekend day work 08.30 to 19.00 on a 1:7 rota (although when fully staffed this should be 1:8).

They have lots of surgical equipment including endoscopy, laparoscopy, rhinoscopy and dental x-ray.

The practice is home to 5 certificate holders and do most of their own work ups and surgical cases in house.

4 day week

Hours of work 08.30 to 18.00 or 08.30 to 19.00 when on call

15 minute appointments

OOH bonus paid on professional work carried out

6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays

Salary range £29,000 to £50,000 depending on experience

They have a very supportive practice with several very experienced vets and can offer a newer graduate a broad range of cases.
