FULL TIME SENIOR/HEAD VETERINARY NURSE Near Brighton (SN/15264)
Our client, a friendly practice 15 minutes from Brighton and Crawley is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced nurse to join the team. You will be someone who instinctively wants to go that extra mile to provide the best care to your patients.
They are a happy, busy practice offering clients a very high standard of service whilst maintaining a compassionate approach to our work. The team includes 6 vets, 8 qualified nurses, a practice manager and a great front of house team.
The practice is purpose built with digital X-ray, ultrasonography, in-house laboratory facilities plus separate dog, cat and isolation wards.
The nursing team are very efficient and established. The practice ensures their skills are fully utilised. Our head nurse will be leaving us after 5 years in the position at the end of 2020. We are looking for a senior candidate who can help lead the team and ensure clinical excellence is maintained. Also, someone who can bring new ideas to help the nursing team develop even further. Previously we have run very successful nursing clinics (which have been temporarily paused due to COVID); these will be relaunched when safe to do so and we are looking for someone who can drive this forward. You will need to be an excellent nurse, a good communicator, a strong leader and have a passion for animal care and welfare. Several of our nurses have additional qualifications and further study (including diplomas) would be fully supported.

The practice is offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a funded CPD package as well as 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years UK experience.
