Our client has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated RVN to join their team as a Clinical Lead Nurse! This is a fantastic position for a nurse who wants to develop and take their first steps into a management role.

Responsibilities will include, managing and co-ordinating theatre, liaising with vets to prioritise procedures and ensuring the smooth running of the surgical caseload. Good knowledge of nurse clinics and consulting to ensure that our consulting process is kept up to date. Other duties will include leading clinical audits, clinical coaching for student nurses, maintaining stock, equipment repair/maintenance, leading and developing nurse clinics, keeping up to date SOPs, and assisting with best practice within PSS guidelines to retain our accredited status.

The role is for approximately 37 hours per average week. Monday to Friday shifts are either 8 am to 3 pm, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm or 11 am to 7 pm, on a shared rota. Saturdays are 1:4, from 8.30am to 2.00pm.  No on-call. No out of hours.

The salary for this role is up to £28,500 FTE depending on experience.

They are looking for a registered veterinary nurse who shares our team values, has a strong work ethic, and can consistently provide excellent patient and client care. At least two years post qualification experience would be preferable and a Clinical Coach Qualification or eagerness to train towards this would be advantageous.
