Registered Veterinary Nurse – Belfast

• Full time or Part time
• Salary up to £29,000 depending on experience, pro rata

Your role will be busy and varied, incorporating all aspects of nursing and our client supports their nurses in developing any areas of interest, CPD and in-house training are actively encouraged and funded.

You will be required to work 8-hour shifts across 5 days per week, between 7.30 am and 7:30 pm. With a 1:8 share in the weekend rota and approximately 5 weekends on call per year.

Our client’s practice is a leading, RCVS-accredited, general and referral hospital in Belfast. Their diagnostics and treatments are second to none and our clinical team is highly trained and experienced to ensure our patients receive the very best treatment. Additionally, their referral work encompasses the fields of orthopaedics, ophthalmology, internal medicine, neurology, cardiology, soft tissue surgery, rehabilitation, and pain management.

You will join a team of 21 nurses, ward assistants, lab technicians and sterile services technicians working with 10 Veterinary Surgeons. The facilities include three operating theatres, an x-ray, on-site 16-slice CT, visiting high-field MRI, ultrasound, arthroscopy, fluoroscopy, and endoscopy.
