We currently have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon at our client’s mixed animal practice as a permanent member of staff.
You will have a grounding in all aspects of general practice (medical and surgical) with an ambition for more advanced surgical case load including orthopaedics and soft tissue / reconstructive surgery. One to one support and active tuition will be given for rapid development as well as associated CPD. They are highly equipped for medical and surgical investigations. Offering both first and second opinion services.
Start Date: This position is available immediately
You will ideally have 2 years + of small animal experience
Opening Hours Monday – Friday: 9am – 7pm
Opening Hours Saturdays: 9am – 11.30am (appointments)
Some OOH and some Weekends on a rolling rota
Salary competitive – rising with experience

This is a long-established, independent practice providing veterinary care throughout Northern and Southern Ireland. They have five separate species departments, staffed by over 30 vets and supported by their own teams. They are committed to excellence in both client and patient care in each department and continually explore new techniques and treatments for their clients to be on the forefront of delivery of care.
We are looking for a good all-round GP Vet, and you will be covering all routine first opinion small animal work with consults and ops where required. You must be able to cover the basic surgeries including Bitch spays, dog castrates, lump removals among others.
