An experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse is wanted to join a supportive team at a lovely independent small animal practice in South Wales. This is a busy and progressive practice that is purpose-built and fully RCVS accredited.
The nursing team is essential to assist the practice in delivering a gold standard of care to their clients and patients. They have a strong, diverse, and vibrant nursing team consisting of 8 qualified nurses and 8 student nurses.
As a training practice, they promote further development of their clinical skills and currently have two nurses commencing their nursing certificate courses, both of which are being supported and funded by the practice.
They believe that continuity of care is essential for any veterinary hospital and therefore provide their own out of hours' coverage to enable them to deliver 24/7 care. This essential around the clock care is delivered by their nursing team on a rota basis covering weekend and nights shifts.
Role and Benefits:
Fully qualified and registered veterinary nurse.
Full time at 40 hours per week.
Annual salary is £23,920.
20 days' holiday plus bank holidays.
OOH and weekend as per rota.
Annual CPD allowance of £500 and 3 days.
RCVS fees paid.
