An unmissable opportunity has arisen for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join a fantastic small animal practice in South East London. Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required.
The role will involve all aspects of nursing as well as the day-to-day running of the practice. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas; more responsibilities will form part of this role with full support being provided by the nursing team.
As a Head Veterinary Nurse, you will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties as well as sharing best practice with your team and helping to support and develop the student nurses in your practice.
Full-time – 40 hours a week over 5 days
Weekday Shifts: 11:30am – 8pm/ 8am – 4:30pm/ 11am – 7:30pm/ 7am - 3:30pm
Weekend rota: 1:3 Saturdays/Sundays or 1:6 full weekends
Competitive salary of up to £29,696, dependent on experience

You must be a Veterinary Nurse who is registered with the RCVS.

A busy and thriving clinic with a very interesting and varied caseload, you will have use of ultrasound, echocardiology, digital radiography, laser therapy, separate cat and dog wards, two operating theatres, dental radiography, tonometry and access to CT facilities very close by. The 4-vet team is supported by a strong nursing team. One of the colleagues is studying for a diagnostic imaging certificate, so cases are thoroughly worked up and include echocardiograms.
