Our clients currently have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their outstanding team in Leeds. You will be joining their Night team comprised of 3 vets and a team of supportive nurses, on a 7 on, 14 off basis giving you an incomparable work life balance!
Start Date: February – ongoing
Experienced Vets only please – must be capable of gold-standard, high end ECC with UK working experience (this would not be a mentoring role)
Permanent: 7 on, 14 off rota
Active Clinical Vet Group / Journal Club within practice
BSAVA, VDS, RCVS and BVA memberships paid
Central-CPD annual membership
Income Protection, Pension, Life Insurance
No annual leave (worked into package, and needs to be taken during 14 days off)
Salary: Up to £50k
£1500 CPD annual allowance
Monday: 8pm – 8am
Tuesday: 8pm – 8am
Wednesday: 8pm – 8am
Thursday: 8pm – 8am
Friday: 8pm – 9am
Saturday: 7pm – 9am
Sunday: 7pm – 8am
You would be joining a highly successful progressive practice, who provide extended 24/7 services which include OOH emergency care and hospitalization to patients from 15 surrounding practices in the region. Unlike some OOH positions, this practice is active throughout the evenings offering an interesting caseload, consults and the option to operate.
The Vets at this practice perform a variety of surgeries including; orthopedic, TTA patella, fracture repairs and challenging soft tissue surgery, cardiology and imaging. Boasting an extensive array of state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, you will be joining an excellent practice that will enable you to really demonstrate and extend your skills!
