Our client based in Lanarkshire has a vacancy for an equine nurse to join their equine hospital.
They are keen to welcome an Equine nurse - who'll be comfortable supporting the team, and clients with a commitment to ensuring excellent animal care. The role will include all aspects of nursing; from neonatal intensive care, to surgical scrub nurse in our purpose built theatre. They pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards of care to our patients.
The candidate will be flexible in their approach to work and is happy to take on new challenges. The caseload is varied; with medical, surgical and orthopaedic cases our nurses work across all areas and develop a broad range of experience.
**1 in 4 weekend duties
**One night per week
The practice has a varied caseload and extensive diagnostic imaging suite.
You will be covering all nursing duties where required including assisting in surgery, monitoring anesthetics, taking bloods and x-rays, in patient care, critical care, nursing clinics amongst others. The ideal candidates will be hard working, enthusiastic and down-to-earth with a proactive, positive attitude who thrives with a busy caseload. A confident level of general nursing is required and above all else, you will be passionate and dedicated to providing an outstanding service for our clients and their animals.
Our client is offering a competitive salary, dependent on experience, on-call retainer fee, and 30 days holiday. We have a personal CPD allowance so you can choose to attend the CPD that you would like to attend within your personal budget.
